Education

Diploma in Dietetics or Nutrition Science, supplemented by a Sports Nutrition postgraduate qualification

The dietitian title is regulated and requires a recognized diploma in dietetics. A postgraduate qualification in sports nutrition is strongly recommended for specialization. Medical nutritionists follow a medical degree pathway with nutrition specialization.
